According to the statistics of the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the cumulative turnover of goods retail and consumer services for the first half of 2013 was 1,275,400 billion VND (60.63 billion US dollars), an increase of 11.9% over the same period last year. It can be seen that Vietnamese consumers are keen to try new things. This strong retail market will bring unlimited space for overseas companies interested in opening up the Southeast Asian market.
