China-Asian Expo Exhibition Introduction

The China-ASEAN Expo is an international fair with a difference. It is highly regarded by the political and business circles of China and ASEAN countries. It is the only one of China's more than 6,000 exhibitions with the main leaders of China, namely the leaders of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee. , With the Boao Forum for Asia and the Summer Davos Forum as a national first-class exhibition.
The East China Expo will be jointly held by the leaders of China and ASEAN countries, and will be co-sponsored by the competent commercial departments of the governments of China and ASEAN and the ASEAN Secretariat. The China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat is the organizer of the East Expo.
Since 2004, the East China Fair has been successfully held for 14 sessions. A total of 67 Chinese and foreign leaders and 2,900 ministerial guests attended. More than 40 major business associations from various countries became the East China Expo’s supporter associations, with more than 660,000 businessmen participating. Participants have become a pragmatic platform to promote the organic integration of the “Belt and Road” initiative.

The 15th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN strategic partnership, the 15th anniversary of the East Expo, and the China-ASEAN Innovation Year are also the 5th anniversary of the “Belt and Road” cooperation. The 15th East Expo will be held in Nanning from September 12-15, 2018, with the theme country being Cambodia. There will be a dedicated “Belt and Road” exhibition area, a series of investment promotion activities and high-level forums, etc., to build a bridge between the “Belt and Road” countries and China and ASEAN for more cooperation.

The East Expo will be held in Nanning, and we look forward to the countries along the “Belt and Road” joining together to share business opportunities. This year's East Expo will set up a special “Belt and Road” exhibition area. Exhibitors from countries along the “Belt and Road” will be able to display their own unique products and enter the China-ASEAN market more easily. The East Expo will bring together China's machinery and equipment, electronic appliances, building materials, and food and beverage, consumer goods, light crafts and other commodities from ASEAN countries to facilitate 'one-stop' procurement.

More than 80 ASEAN investment promotion activities were held on the theme of investment cooperation set by the East Expo, involving international production capacity cooperation, international engineering contracting, labor service cooperation, resource development, information technology, energy development, infrastructure construction, park investment and railway, nonferrous metals, power , Agriculture and other fields, it is an ideal platform for China, ASEAN and countries along the “Belt and Road” to release investment environment and investment policies, develop production capacity cooperation, and connect investment projects. At the same time, the East Expo will also hold a high-level multi-disciplinary cooperation forum covering more than 40 fields such as customs, inspection and quarantine, finance, logistics, and information. Through participation in the dialogue and communication, a cooperation mechanism can be established to promote the implementation of the project and share it together 'One Belt One Road' business opportunities.
