The Istanbul Welding Exhibition MAKTEK is jointly sponsored by the Turkish Machine Tool Industry and Commerce Association, the Turkish Machinery Manufacturing Association, and Tüyap Exhibition Company. According to statistical data, the booth is the third largest trade show in the world. With the geographical advantages of Turkey and Istanbul, it has become a bridge for international machinery manufacturers to connect the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

The net area of the exhibition booth is 12,000 square meters; more than 500 exhibitors participated in the exhibition, attracting visitors from many countries to visit. The exhibition provides an ideal platform for business negotiations. According to the post-exhibition survey, 94% of the exhibitors are satisfied with the professional quality of the audience, 96% of the exhibitors said that the exhibition has reached their expected goals and that they will participate in the next exhibition; while in terms of visitors, they have purchasing decisions 85% of the capacity, 55% of the audience signed on the spot, 95% of the audience said that they will participate in the next Turkish Industrial Exhibition.
