The German Essen Safety and Security Products Exhibition is hosted by the German Essen Exhibition Co., Ltd., and is held every two years. It is a window for companies in the world to publish information and display products. The exhibition was founded in 1974. After 40 years of hard work, it has now jumped into the world's three major exhibitions in the field of security, and is well-known in the industry. The exhibition is held in Essen, Germany every two years.
The exhibition area of the last exhibition was nearly 80,000 square meters, divided into 8 exhibition halls, from a total of 45 countries and Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, China, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, etc. 1,040 exhibitors from the region participated, and more than 400 foreign exhibitors. With the exception of a few companies such as Haikang, Dahua, Tongwei and other companies applying for booths at the International Pavilion, 90% of Chinese companies are concentrated in Hall 7 to unify the image of China.
The 4-day Essen Security Exhibition attracted nearly 40,000 visitors from 119 countries, of which 30% were international visitors. Such a high proportion of international visitors fully illustrates the international nature of the Essen exhibition. Among them, 82% of the visitors were the direct decision makers of the company's procurement, and 25% of the visitors reached a deal at the exhibition site, an increase of 8% compared with 2014. The high participation of international audiences makes this exhibition once again a high-level communication and trading platform. In Germany alone, the turnover of security products reached 14.5 billion euros, an increase of 17% compared with 2014; one-third of the audience believes that security products will continue to develop strongly in the future, with a growth rate exceeding 30%. Britain, Africa and Asia are seen as strong drivers.
Germany is a federal self-governing system, and there is no unified security administration in the country. Security work is independently managed by the police departments of the autonomous prefectures. The police departments of 16 autonomous prefectures in the country all have special security management agencies.
The German police evaluates the safety of banks, museums, airports and public buildings according to the security situation, and requires these sites to build technical defense facilities based on the security risk level and relevant standards.

For example, the security of Munich International Airport in Germany is to integrate 15 security systems such as perimeter defense system, security inspection and explosion protection system, entrance and exit control system and closed circuit television monitoring system through the central management system, and carry out intelligent management to improve airport security.
