Market analysis
As one of the world's major emerging countries, India has strong economic growth, with growth of up to 8.2% in the 2014-2015 fiscal year. According to statistics from the Indian Business Information Statistics Agency and the Indian Ministry of Commerce, from January to June 2015, the import and export volume of Indian goods was US$56.77 billion, of which exports were US$24.43 billion and imports were US$32.34 billion. The trade deficit was 7.91 billion US dollars. In June, India’s bilateral trade in goods with China was US$5.76 billion, an increase of 9.4%. As of the end of July, China ranked fourth in India's export trade after the United States, the UAE and Hong Kong, but it was India's largest source of imports in import trade.
