The impact of joining the WTO, as Boris Fuming, chairman of the Textile Industry and Light Industry Business Committee of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: Coins have two sides. Russia's accession to the WTO has advantages and disadvantages, but on the whole, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Boris Fuming takes the textile light industry as an example. This industry is one of the weakest industries in Russia. In the textile light industry market of 2 trillion to 3 trillion rubles, the local product share is only 20% to 25%. The market share needs to be maintained by imports. Fuming believes that the entry of WTO will eliminate about 50% of the gray imports in the import share. The Russian textile and light industry market will be more regulated from now on, and local enterprises will instead have the opportunity to grow. At the same time, trading partners are also willing to invest and cooperate in the fairer and more legitimate Russian market.
